Jon R. Soares – 25 years in Construction
In his teen years Jon worked in his father’s Plumbing and Heating Company learning the mechanical aspect of residential and commercial construction. He later was recruited by a national commercial contracting firm which self- performed the majority of their work. As a crew member he developed his skills in carpentry, concrete, structural steel, and interior finishes. Also in his twenties Jon attended Florida International University and simultaneously earned a bachelor’s degree and gained substantial experience in construction management. At the age of 32 Jon obtained his commercial contractor’s license and was approached by a major restaurant franchise to build their restaurants. Since then his business grew gaining multiple commercial and residential customers. Jon has obtained multiple state contractors’ licenses.
